Myanmar, once known as Burma, is a truly wonderful country. It has recently opened, even if with some limitations for some areas, to tourism. It is a country not yet contaminated by the tourism and wonderful to visit.
There are really places that deserve a visit in Myanmar , such as Inle Lake, the city of Bagan (or Pagan) Mandalay and many others. It is a country full of naturalistic surprises and of great historical and religious tradition. The country is Buddhist and permeated by Buddhist culture. Interesting is the largest book in the world, the sacred text of the Tripitaka, engraved on marble tables in the Kuthodaw pagoda. And even if the roads are in poor condition it is worth a visit especially with the slow travel times of the bikepacking.
The following is the story, a bit prankster as usual, of the journey made with Armando Lanaro and my cousin Marco Borroni of the group “Age is not a limit”! The video is also visible in 4K for those who have a fast connection.
